Across Montana voters have seen massive changes to how they                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
vote. Most recently, election offices have been clogged with late                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
registrations and voting. This is mostly due to the college towns with                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
all the students being called to vote locally. The question of residency                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
becoming more and more difficult to patrol.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
And now this bill is being requested that would make it even more                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
difficult to verify whether a voter is a legal resident. Once we lose faith                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
in the voting process, our entire political process is at risk.
